This one day, 3-HOUR workshop offers you communication techniques so that you can: • resist pressure from family and friends so you make decisions that most honor and reflect you as a couple • argue fairly so you don’t drive each other crazy • listen so you’ll both be on the same page • express your emotions without saddling guilt trips on each other • sit down and talk about the issues you’ve been avoiding • look at challenges from each other’s P.O.V. so as to solve seemingly unsolvable problems • have fun and so be refreshed, not exhausted, when you walk down the aisle My techniques and stories will show you how to communicate so that you can create the wedding of your dreams while actually strengthening your relationship. | In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, arts organization Create:Fixate will celebrate a decade of loving Los Angeles with Art, Music, and all things Creative with a themed show titled “I Art You” on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Premiere Events Center in Downtown Los Angeles. The event will be filled with Create:Fixate's signature blend of vibrant artwork and music produced by over forty local artists, DJs, and musicians. Valentine-themed merriment will be included such as a Love Car Art Competition, Valentine's Day Card Making Station, and Singles Mingle. Participating visual artists include Curtis Brooks, Brian Robertson, and Emily White. Audio Lab highlights include John Tejada, Silver Pesos, Valida and Aime. The excitement begins at 4:00pm with a three-hour gallery preview. The main event starts at 7:00pm and closes at 2:00am. Admission is $15.00 before 9:00pm and $20.00 for the remainder of the night.
